Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Still Life With Onions, Figs, Cucumbers, A Cabbage And Some Flowers Arranged On The Floor Next To A Wooden Tub by Jan Fyt. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,256.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Fyt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Studies of the head of a wild boar in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 236,750.00 (€ 263,760.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Onions, Figs, Cucumbers, A Cabbage And Some Flowers Arranged On The Floor Next To A Wooden Tub von Jan Fyt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.256,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Fyt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Studies of the head of a wild boar im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 236.750,00 (€ 263.760,50).
