Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ducks In A Landscape by Jan Fyt was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2016. The price achieved of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 61,381.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Fyt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Studies of the head of a wild boar in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 236,750.00 (€ 263,760.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ducks In A Landscape von Jan Fyt wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 61.381,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Fyt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Studies of the head of a wild boar im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 236.750,00 (€ 263.760,50).
