Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work A Study Of A Horse, An Ox, Dogs, A Boar, Stags, A Goat And Foxes by Jan Fyt for USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,817.65). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings and Sculpture at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Fyt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Studies of the head of a wild boar in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 236,750.00 (€ 263,760.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Study Of A Horse, An Ox, Dogs, A Boar, Stags, A Goat And Foxes von Jan Fyt für USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.817,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings and Sculpture bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Fyt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Studies of the head of a wild boar im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 236.750,00 (€ 263.760,50).
