The »bidding war« ended at EUR 18,750.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Fyt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Studies of the head of a wild boar in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 236,750.00 (€ 263,760.50).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 18.750,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Fyt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Studies of the head of a wild boar im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 236.750,00 (€ 263.760,50).
