This artwork by Jan Adam Zandleven achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2000. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Sweet william in white 'Lanooy pot' sold for NLG 8,191.40 (€ 3,600.64) - well above the upper estimate of NLG 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jan Adam Zandleven; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A blossoming tree sold at auction in January 2001 with the realized price of NLG 15,275.00 (€ 6,684.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Adam Zandleven erzielte im Juli 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit Sweet william in white 'Lanooy pot' für NLG 8.191,40 (€ 3.600,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von NLG 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jan Adam Zandleven; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A blossoming tree im Januar 2001 mit dem Hammerpreis von NLG 15.275,00 (€ 6.684,04).
