Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jan Adam Zandleven achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2007. In the Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work A still life with red flowers in a green vase sold for EUR 3,120.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Adam Zandleven - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A blossoming tree, which sold at auction in January 2001 for NLG 15,275.00 (€ 6,684.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Adam Zandleven erzielte im Januar 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit A still life with red flowers in a green vase für EUR 3.120,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Adam Zandleven mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A blossoming tree beobachtet, die im Januar 2001 für NLG 15.275,00 (€ 6.684,04) versteigert wurde.
