Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Interior of a farmhouse in Rhenen by Jan Adam Zandleven. It changed hands for a price of EUR 298.75 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 220.00 – 320.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Adam Zandleven achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A blossoming tree in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 15,275.00 (€ 6,684.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Interior of a farmhouse in Rhenen von Jan Adam Zandleven zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 298,75 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 220,00 – 320,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Adam Zandleven erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A blossoming tree im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 15.275,00 (€ 6.684,04).
