Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.792,50 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Adam Zandleven mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A blossoming tree beobachtet, die im Januar 2001 für NLG 15.275,00 (€ 6.684,04) versteigert wurde.
