Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A view of Gorssel by Jan Adam Zandleven was sold in the Nineteen to Now, incl. Topographical Observations auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. The price achieved of EUR 1,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Adam Zandleven - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A blossoming tree, which sold at auction in January 2001 for NLG 15,275.00 (€ 6,684.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A view of Gorssel von Jan Adam Zandleven wurde im September 2012 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, incl. Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Adam Zandleven mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A blossoming tree beobachtet, die im Januar 2001 für NLG 15.275,00 (€ 6.684,04) versteigert wurde.
