Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jan Adam Zandleven could be acquired at Sothebys in Amsterdam in September 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work A Farmhouse In Summer changed hands for EUR 1,250.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,400.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Adam Zandleven have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A blossoming tree in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 15,275.00 (€ 6,684.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Adam Zandleven konnte im September 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours wechselte die Arbeit A Farmhouse In Summer für EUR 1.250,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.400,00 – 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Adam Zandleven auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A blossoming tree im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 15.275,00 (€ 6.684,04).
