Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Still Life With Flowers In A Ginger Jar by Jan Adam Zandleven was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2001. Here, the upper estimate of NLG 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for NLG 3,760.00 (€ 1,807.23). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Adam Zandleven - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A blossoming tree, which sold at auction in January 2001 for NLG 15,275.00 (€ 6,684.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Still Life With Flowers In A Ginger Jar von Jan Adam Zandleven wurde im Juni 2001 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von NLG 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für NLG 3.760,00 (€ 1.807,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Adam Zandleven mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A blossoming tree beobachtet, die im Januar 2001 für NLG 15.275,00 (€ 6.684,04) versteigert wurde.
