It achieved a price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,528.02), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Seymour achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lord Portmore's 'Snap', a saddled chestnut hunter held by a groom, with a setter in a landscape in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 275,000.00 (€ 322,494.52).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.528,02) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Seymour erzielen.
