This artwork by James Rizzi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in January 2024. In the Prints & Multiples auction, the work A New Look at Life sold for USD 4,352.00 (€ 3,803.53) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Rizzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The King of New York in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 52,063.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von James Rizzi erzielte im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples wurde die Arbeit A New Look at Life für USD 4.352,00 (€ 3.803,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Rizzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The King of New York im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.063,00.
