Upper estimate price exceeded by 54 %.
In January 2024 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work A Group of 3 Screenprints 3 by James Rizzi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,072.00 (€ 2,684.85), 54% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Rizzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The King of New York in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 52,063.00.
