Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work I. Lovers Lost Ii. Desert Of Deception by James Hopkins was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in July 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 750.00 (€ 673.85). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Hopkins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Thunder in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,721.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit I. Lovers Lost Ii. Desert Of Deception von James Hopkins kam im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 750,00 (€ 673,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Hopkins erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Thunder im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.721,77).
