Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Inside Reflection by James Hopkins was worth GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,959.21) to a buyer in March 2019. This price was achieved in the auction The George Michael Collection Online Auction at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Hopkins - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue Thunder, which sold at auction in March 2019 for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,721.77).
