Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Bonhams held the auction Western Art, which included the work Brahma by James Elwood Reynolds. The price achieved of USD 24,225.00 (€ 21,942.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by James Elwood Reynolds have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2019 the work Touch and Go was auctioned for USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,448.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Brahma von James Elwood Reynolds zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 24.225,00 (€ 21.942,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von James Elwood Reynolds konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2019 die Arbeit Touch and Go für USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.448,02) versteigert.
