The work Reneé, Cannes, Aout by Jacques Henri Lartigue was worth USD 2,040.00 (€ 2,085.25) to a buyer in September last year. This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Photographs at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 600.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Henri Lartigue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Automobile Delage, Grand Prix de l’Automobile-Club de France, Le Tréport, 26 juin 1912 in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 54,536.01).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Prints & Photographs bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 600,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Henri Lartigue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Automobile Delage, Grand Prix de l’Automobile-Club de France, Le Tréport, 26 juin 1912 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 54.536,01).
