Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life Of Summer Flowers In A Bowl, With Butterflies And A Bird'S Nest Upon A Marble Ledge, A Temple Beyond by Jacobus Linthorst was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2015. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,987.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacobus Linthorst achieve. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 13.987,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
