The work A Vase Of Peonies, Chrysanthemums And A Carnation With Exotic Fruits In A Garden by Jacobus Linthorst was worth GBP 37,500.00 (€ 43,137.84) to a buyer in April 2020. This price was achieved in the auction The Rafael Valls Sale at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacobus Linthorst - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A crown imperial lily, tulips, hydrangea, lilac, an iris, paeonies, auricola, convolvuli and other flowers in an urn with a spray of roses on a marble pedestal; and Grapes, plums, wild strawberries, daisies, roses, and corn in a basket with a melon,, which sold at auction in July 2000 for GBP 102,750.00 (€ 166,145.40)
