It achieved a price of EUR 120,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jacobus Linthorst; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A crown imperial lily, tulips, hydrangea, lilac, an iris, paeonies, auricola, convolvuli and other flowers in an urn with a spray of roses on a marble pedestal; and Grapes, plums, wild strawberries, daisies, roses, and corn in a basket with a melon, sold at auction in July 2000 with the realized price of GBP 102,750.00 (€ 166,145.40)
