Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work In the orchard: blowing dandelions by Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever. The price achieved of EUR 4,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A quiet afternoon, which sold at auction in January 2001 for NLG 41,125.00 (€ 17,995.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit In the orchard: blowing dandelions von Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A quiet afternoon beobachtet, die im Januar 2001 für NLG 41.125,00 (€ 17.995,50) versteigert wurde.
