Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Zocord #15" by Jacob Dahlgren was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 34,000.00 (€ 3,005.80). Other works by Jacob Dahlgren have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2010 by the work "Flipper VII". at SEK 46,000.00 (€ 4,771.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Zocord #15" von Jacob Dahlgren im April diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 34.000,00 (€ 3.005,80) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Jacob Dahlgren wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2010 die Arbeit "Flipper VII". mit SEK 46.000,00 (€ 4.771,44).
