Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Zwarte Rotswand (Black Cliff) by Jaap Wagemaker was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2016. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jaap Wagemaker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work De Ruiter in November 2000 with an auction result of NLG 72,552.40 (€ 33,989.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Zwarte Rotswand (Black Cliff) von Jaap Wagemaker kam im April 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jaap Wagemaker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit De Ruiter im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 72.552,40 (€ 33.989,64).
