Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jaap Wagemaker achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2017. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Bronsgroen (Bronze Green) sold for EUR 4,375.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jaap Wagemaker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work De Ruiter in November 2000 with an auction result of NLG 72,552.40 (€ 33,989.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jaap Wagemaker erzielte im April 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Bronsgroen (Bronze Green) für EUR 4.375,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jaap Wagemaker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit De Ruiter im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 72.552,40 (€ 33.989,64).
