It achieved a price of USD 10,080.00 (€ 10,303.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by J. Sultan Ali - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vanraj-Nandi, which sold at auction in March 2021 for USD 47,880.00 (€ 40,773.23).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 10.303,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Für andere Arbeiten von J. Sultan Ali mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vanraj-Nandi beobachtet, die im März 2021 für USD 47.880,00 (€ 40.773,23) versteigert wurde.
