Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hotdog Lady, Coin by Ivy Haldeman was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,890.00 (€ 8,344.28). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivy Haldeman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Colossus, Lips, Two Fingers Enter Left, Toes Touch Top in May last year with an auction result of USD 176,400.00 (€ 164,383.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hotdog Lady, Coin von Ivy Haldeman wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.890,00 (€ 8.344,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivy Haldeman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Colossus, Lips, Two Fingers Enter Left, Toes Touch Top im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 176.400,00 (€ 164.383,56).
