The work Banana Phone by Ivy Haldeman was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May this year. It achieved a price of USD 25,400.00 (€ 23,840.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Admittedly, works by Ivy Haldeman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Colossus, Lips, Two Fingers Enter Left, Toes Touch Top in May last year with an auction result of USD 176,400.00 (€ 164,383.56).

Die Arbeit Banana Phone von Ivy Haldeman kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 25.400,00 (€ 23.840,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ivy Haldeman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Colossus, Lips, Two Fingers Enter Left, Toes Touch Top im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 176.400,00 (€ 164.383,56).
