Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,928.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Silych Goriushkin-Sorokopudov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Vision in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 39,650.00 (€ 50,118.93).
