Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Winter Landscape by Ivan Silych Goriushkin-Sorokopudov was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2008. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,928.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Silych Goriushkin-Sorokopudov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Vision in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 39,650.00 (€ 50,118.93).

Die Arbeit Winter Landscape von Ivan Silych Goriushkin-Sorokopudov kam im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.928,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivan Silych Goriushkin-Sorokopudov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Vision im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 39.650,00 (€ 50.118,93).
