The work Sandbar by Ivan Silych Goriushkin-Sorokopudov was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in June 2008. It achieved a price of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,020.80), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ivan Silych Goriushkin-Sorokopudov; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Vision sold at auction in June 2008 with the realized price of GBP 39,650.00 (€ 50,118.93).

Die Arbeit Sandbar von Ivan Silych Goriushkin-Sorokopudov wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 30.020,80) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ivan Silych Goriushkin-Sorokopudov; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Vision im Juni 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 39.650,00 (€ 50.118,93).
