Auction result well in line with expectations
The work I Dreamt That He Took Me Away and We Would Ride and Ride by Iva Gueorguieva was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 2,268.00 (€ 1,931.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Iva Gueorguieva - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Raft, which sold at auction in March 2021 for USD 5,292.00 (€ 4,506.51).

Die Arbeit I Dreamt That He Took Me Away and We Would Ride and Ride von Iva Gueorguieva kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.268,00 (€ 1.931,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Iva Gueorguieva mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Raft beobachtet, die im März 2021 für USD 5.292,00 (€ 4.506,51) versteigert wurde.
