Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (33) by Israel Lund for USD 8,820.00 (€ 7,510.86). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Israel Lund achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 110,500.00 (€ 141,092.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (33) von Israel Lund für USD 8.820,00 (€ 7.510,86) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Israel Lund erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 110.500,00 (€ 141.092,54).
