In the Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Al- Tariq (The Way) sold for GBP 150,000.00 (€ 173,989.24) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 70,000.00. This high result makes Al- Tariq (The Way) the most expensive artwork by Ismail Shammout that we have observed at auctions so far.
