Auction result well in line with expectations
The work De jonge naaister (The young seamstress) by Isaac Israëls was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 126,000.00 (€ 146,822.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Isaac Israëls - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Raden Mas Jodjana, which sold at auction in May 2019 for HKD 4,325,000.00 (€ 494,995.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit De jonge naaister (The young seamstress) von Isaac Israëls wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 126.000,00 (€ 146.822,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Isaac Israëls mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of Raden Mas Jodjana beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für HKD 4.325.000,00 (€ 494.995,07) versteigert wurde.
