Here, the upper estimate of EUR 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 88,200.00. Admittedly, works by Isaac Israëls have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Raden Mas Jodjana in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,325,000.00 (€ 494,995.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A busy day at Rotten Row, Hyde Park, London von Isaac Israëls wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Made in Holland bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 88.200,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Isaac Israëls auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of Raden Mas Jodjana im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.325.000,00 (€ 494.995,07).
