Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Kirche (Church) by Isa Genzken. Here, the upper estimate of USD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 165,100.00 (€ 151,356.80). Admittedly, works by Isa Genzken have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fenster in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 677,000.00 (€ 946,953.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kirche (Church) von Isa Genzken zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 165.100,00 (€ 151.356,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Isa Genzken auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fenster im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 677.000,00 (€ 946.953,90).
