Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Empire/Vampire III by Isa Genzken was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in April last year. The price achieved of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 60,100.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isa Genzken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fenster in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 677,000.00 (€ 946,953.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Empire/Vampire III von Isa Genzken wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 60.100,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isa Genzken erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fenster im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 677.000,00 (€ 946.953,90).
