Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 245,700.00 (€ 282,131.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Isa Genzken - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fenster, which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 677,000.00 (€ 946,953.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Geschwister (Siblings) von Isa Genzken wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 245.700,00 (€ 282.131,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Für andere Arbeiten von Isa Genzken mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fenster beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für GBP 677.000,00 (€ 946.953,90) versteigert wurde.
