Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Impact by Irene Chou was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in August 2021. The price achieved of HKD 44,100.00 (€ 4,802.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Irene Chou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Universe Lies Within in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,598.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Impact von Irene Chou kam im August 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.100,00 (€ 4.802,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Irene Chou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Universe Lies Within im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.598,44).
