It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,619.65) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ippolito Caffi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Veduta Di Piazza Navona, Roma in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 1,588,800.00.
