Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ilya Bolotowsky could be acquired at Bonhams in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions auction, the work Series 5 changed hands for USD 701.25 (€ 661.43) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ilya Bolotowsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rectangle Within a Circle in May this year with an auction result of USD 107,950.00 (€ 101,323.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ilya Bolotowsky konnte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions wechselte die Arbeit Series 5 für USD 701,25 (€ 661,43) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ilya Bolotowsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rectangle Within a Circle im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 107.950,00 (€ 101.323,45).
