A top price for Ian Strang - as previously expected
In September 2012 Christies in London held the auction The London Sale, which included the work The Vale of Health, Hampstead by Ian Strang. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,254.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Vale of Health, Hampstead is the most expensive artwork by Ian Strang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im September 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion The London Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Vale of Health, Hampstead von Ian Strang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.254,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Vale of Health, Hampstead das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ian Strang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
