The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 446.50 (€ 711.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ian Strang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2012 the work The Vale of Health, Hampstead was auctioned for GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,254.82).
