Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March last year Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Light Grey, Dark Blue by Ian Davenport. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 60,480.00 (€ 71,705.85). Other works by Ian Davenport have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 95,447.82) in March 2021 for the work Poured Lines: Dark Cobalt Study.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Light Grey, Dark Blue von Ian Davenport zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 60.480,00 (€ 71.705,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Ian Davenport haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 95.447,82) im März 2021 für die Arbeit Poured Lines: Dark Cobalt Study beobachtet.
