The work International Monument by Huma Bhabha was sold in the Handpicked: 100 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery auction at Christies in New York in March 2017. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,526.64), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huma Bhabha achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 178,126.11).

Die Arbeit International Monument von Huma Bhabha wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Handpicked: 100 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 17.526,64) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huma Bhabha erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 178.126,11).
