Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,216.00 (€ 1,121.87). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hugues Claude Pissarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Un Dimanche À La Roseraie 'Jean Grave' (Pont De L'Arche Alizay) in April 2021 with an auction result of GBP 30,240.00 (€ 34,784.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le Jardin d'Yves Saint Laurent (The Garden of Yves Saint Laurent) von Hugues Claude Pissarro wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.216,00 (€ 1.121,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hugues Claude Pissarro erzielen.
