The work City lights by Hugó Scheiber was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October this year. It achieved a price of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 4,409.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hugó Scheiber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Ball in April 2006 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 69,277.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit City lights von Hugó Scheiber kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.840,00 (€ 4.409,39) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hugó Scheiber erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Ball im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 69.277,57).
