Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lombos Fa (Leafy Tree) by Hugó Scheiber was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in December last year. The price achieved of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,575.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hugó Scheiber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Ball in April 2006 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 69,277.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lombos Fa (Leafy Tree) von Hugó Scheiber kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.575,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hugó Scheiber erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Ball im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 69.277,57).
