Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work The Spirit Of Youth by Hugo Robus. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,318.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hugo Robus have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Paean' in December 2010 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 51,624.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Spirit Of Youth von Hugo Robus zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.318,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hugo Robus auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Paean' im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 51.624,09).
