Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction American Art, which included the work Truncated Figure by Hugo Robus. The price achieved of USD 3,584.00 (€ 3,285.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hugo Robus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Paean' in December 2010 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 51,624.09).
